Release notes

The newest version is always at diskops.app/download.

Version 1.0 18 October 2026

The first release.

• Scan any disk or folder and see it as a sunburst you can click through, with a preview of any file.
• Collect what you don’t need from any depth, then delete it after a five-second countdown. Items go to the Trash unless you choose otherwise.
• Scan and delete as administrator, manage snapshots and purgeable space, and export a scan to CSV.

With Full Power:

• The safety check refuses what macOS needs, and marks everything else safe, check first, or don’t delete.
• Flow and Treemap views of the same scan, and the 3D view.
• Cleanup finds duplicates, caches, build data, dependencies, installers and old files.
• History compares scans, scans automatically, and alerts you when the disk fills up.
• The app uninstaller removes an app with everything it left in your Library.
• The assistant explains folders and suggests what to remove, with your own Anthropic API key.
